Crash Dandyboots’ engine did, in fact, hold and he pulled of a thrilling victory in the inaugural Formula OSC racing season’s first race at Silverstone. It was an phenominal afternoon of racing. Pre-season testing in Marseille got off to a slow start as teams discovered what their new cars were capable of. And, in the case of the Wilbur team, where the gas pedal was. Alonso, a mononym, and no relation to Fernando of F1 fame, drove a fantastic race and secured a solid second. Chuck Wilbur, was a steady third and finished only tenths of a second behind the two race leaders.
